Lacebark

Fashioned from a lacebark elm that once lined Breë street in Parys, this bowl tells a story of transformation. Dried, warped, and then deliberately charred in the Japanese yakisugi tradition, it emerged black with fiery undertones still surfacing through the burn - smoldering in silence.
